Estimation of technological efficiency
The principle of technological efficiency estimation is as follows: efficiency criteria (rate of recovery, recovery factor, water oil ratio and other) versus criteria based on geological and technological parameters of concrete development object. These criteria compared to the current values (by a project). The degree of discrepancy between these values is a measure of the field development system efficiency. If field development system confesses as non-effective then dependences are used to identify ways to improve it.
Potential of hydrocarbon production rate and the necessary values of technological parameters (number of wells, volume of injection agents and other) are defined by the developed algorithm. This approach is implemented in a patented method of hydrocarbon deposits development systems definition and wells location optimization.
Appropriate software enables to solve problems related to the preparation of management decisions to improve development of oil and gas field at all stages of field development.
This software provides realization of operative strategic planning at company level with aim to define the most prospective fields/deposits which are require the detailed geological and production data analysis, implementation of geological and technical measures to increase production and to achieve projected indicators.
Operative estimation and high-efficiency solutions solving were conducted for field development systems improvement of Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan fields using developed efficiency estimation methodology. Efficiency of developed method is confirmed by results of implemented recommendations.
