Monograph is a result of the developed in 2005 of Energy Strategy of Ukraine till 2030. The summarized results of analytical investigations to determine the potential and increase level of reserves, increasing of hydrocarbon production, diversification of hydrocarbon reserves in Ukraine, reducing the consumption levels and substituting to alternative fuels, that will assist strengthening of power safety of the state. Much attention is given to the development of own production of hydrocarbons from depleted fields as well as from new prospective objects in Ukraine and abroad. Separate chapters are devoted to the prospects of development of oil and gas processing industry, to the problems of transit of oil and gas, also to the problems of liberalization and effective functioning of oil and gas markets. Monograph is aimed to expend the world view and understanding of problems of wide range specialists, experts and readers interested in the development of oil and gas industry of Ukraine.
